In House Workshop

What Can We Do

As designer / makers we craft many of our jewellery pieces in house.

We can generally repair any precious metal jewellery, but not costume or base metal jewellery or watches of any kind.

We are also pleased to assist customers with their jewellery repairs or refurbishments. Some work can be carried out on site and we are also assisted by the expertise of gemologists, setters, mounters, engravers and stringers who work out of London.

Jewellery repairs are often not straight forward and each piece will need to be assessed on an individual basis in order to give you an indication of work that might be needed and the likely cost to ensure the best results

Types of Refurbishments / Repairs

  • Stone Resetting
  • Vintage Jewellery Restoration

  • Rhodium Plating

These can be sent by email or we can take the images for you if you bring your jewellery item(s) into store.

3. The Initial Consultation

An initial 15 minute Consultation with our jeweller /designer in store or via zoom / phone. The jewellery will be examined and your requirements with approximate budgets will be discussed at this stage.

4. Book In Jewellery for Assessing

All jewellery to be assessed will be booked in by one of our team. An Assessment Fee will be payable at this stage. The Assessment Fee will be between £35 (for a silver piece) and £120 (for a Platinum Diamond Ring)

A small non refundable deposit will be payable, which is then deducted from the final cost of any works. You will receive a receipt and your jewellery will be stored in our safe and insured.

The work required will be thoroughly discussed with you and potential costs explained fully. If we are not sure of an accurate cost at this stage, we will arrange for a fixed quote to be calculated for you.

You will receive a fixed quotation for the work required. All repairs prices start from a minimum charge of £35.

6. Proceeding with the Works

You will be given a time estimate which is typically 2-6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the works.

Our payment terms are 50% on the acceptance of the quote with the balance of 50% on or before collection.

You will be contacted once your jewellery is ready for collection.
