All content and designs by Joulberry or on www.joulberry.com are our intellectual property and are copyrighted, including but not limited to text, content, graphics, logos, photographs, names, illustrations, artwork, trademarks and other material. You may not use any content for commercial reasons, including but not limited to copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, republishing, downloading or otherwise exploiting the content in whole or in part either in the U.K. or any other country, other than with our prior written consent.
Our website is provided to you without warranties or guarantees of any kind and your use of our website and its contents is entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility or liability for functions contained on our website and will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for any technical problems you may experience with the website or incompatibility of the website with any of your equipment, software or telecommunications links.
We will not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, consequential or incidental loss or damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any indirect loss whatsoever arising out of or related to the use of our website.
We do not warrant that the website, use thereof or the terms and conditions (in whole or in part) are in compliance with laws outside the UK. To the extent that any provision of the terms and conditions are unenforceable, that provision should be struck out and the remaining provisions will remain in force.
Links to other websites
If we include links to other websites or material which are beyond our control, these links are not an endorsement by us of the content, product, service, or supplier. If you chose to link to or from any off-website pages or other websites, this is entirely at your own risk and we will not be liable for any losses.
Each item of jewellery that you order which is is bespoke, commissioned artwork or made to your order is crafted and finished by hand. Sizes are approximate and surface and size variations are to be expected adding to the natural beauty and individuality of these unique pieces. The correct spelling of personalisation to be used for hand stamping is your responsibility and any mistakes made by the customer and supplied to us, cannot be rectified once we have started to craft the jewellery. It is the responsibility of you to check your order confirmation to ensure that all details are correct. We will not be held liable for any personal injury caused by any of our products to the fullest extent permitted by law. We attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing our products and prices on the website. Subject to applicable law, however, we do not warrant that the product descriptions or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Leather is a natural product and each hide will have its own individual characteristics and natural marks. Differences in the grain, texture and colour may be apparent from one hide to another and even within the same hide. Joulberry selects only leather of the highest quality, but some marking is inevitable and should be accepted as part of the individual appearance of leather jewellery. The colour of our leathers may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.
We use Royal Mail or DHL Courier Service for all UK and International Orders.
You can select between various shipping options at the checkout.
We will provide you with confirmation that your jewellery (and kit, as appropriate), have been sent and provide a tracking code, so you can check the progress of your order.
Risk of loss and damage of the goods passes to you on the date on which the goods are posted.
Delivery will be made to your delivery address as provided at the time of ordering.
Any shipping timescales are an estimate only and do not constitute binding obligations on us. Shipping time is subject to product availability and clearance of payment. Please note that working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
For security reasons, all parcels must be signed for on receipt, so please state a delivery address where you or someone else will be present at the time of delivery.
Please note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
All product prices are inclusive of value added tax and exclusive of delivery charges.
Due to circumstances outside our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alterations to the rates of value added tax or other sales tax. The current price will be shown when you place your order.
The transaction is taken in pounds sterling. You will be responsible for all charges relating to payments in a currency other than pounds sterling or any other bank charges relating to the payment to us. We retain the legal ownership of all products until we have received full payment.
Full payment must be received by us at the time of placing the order and no orders will be commissioned or kits processed, until payment in full is received. With our Fingerprint and Impressions kits, we ask you to sign that you are happy for us to use the prints/ fingerprint moulds taken. If you are not happy with your prints, we can send you out a further kit. Occasionally, we may receive prints or moulds which are unusable and we will then send you a further kit. If further kits need to be sent to a customer who has not followed the instructions provided with the kits, the current standard cost will be payable by the customer. This cost covers the new kit and the postage. Payment may be made by credit or debit card, a direct transfer to our bank account or through Paypal.
Complaints and customer care
If you do have a complaint, please write to the Joulberry Customer Service Department, 28 Bridge Road, East Molesey, Surrey KT8 9HA or contact us on 020 8979 5774 or by email to [email protected] We welcome and grow from complaints and will log, investigate and reply to all complaints quickly and fairly. We will use our reasonable endeavours to respond to any point of dissatisfaction within 5 days provided you contact us within 7 days of receipt of your jewellery.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase and we will deal with any return enquiries quickly and fairly and do everything we can to resolve any issue.
Due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept any returns on earrings or on personalised items or items made to your order, unless the goods are faulty or damaged. They cannot be returned for credit, refund, indemnity, exchange or reclamation.
Please also note that any items purchased within a sale cannot be refunded. We would be happy to have the item exchanged or a credit note applied.
For non personalised products and products not made to your order (except earrings), you have 14 days from receipt of the product to notify us if you want to cancel the order or exchange the item.
On delivery, please check the jewellery and if you notice that any of the products in your order are damaged or faulty and if you are not entirely satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
Please note that our personalised jewellery is entirely handcrafted, so there will be an organic look and feel which is unique to each piece. Small irregularities to the surface (or beauty spots!) are part of their charm and unlike machine manufactured items, no two handcrafted pieces are identical.
If it is agreed that an item is to be returned, please make sure any returned goods are returned in their original packaging and are secure, protecting the goods from damage while in transit. Please note that you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product. We recommend that you return the goods by recorded post or International Signed For, as appropriate, as until the goods are received by us, they are the responsibility of the customer and we are unable to accept liability for damage or loss in transit.
We will refund any postage by recorded or first class post or International Signed For, as appropriate and we will also pay for the postage costs of sending the jewellery back to you, if the fault is ours. In all other cases, the postage costs for returning the jewellery to us, or back to you, will be your responsibility.
The agreed refund will be actioned within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
We shall automatically regain legal ownership of the products in the event that we refund payment to you.
Offers Promotions and Discounts
Any of the offers discounts and promotions offered by Joulberry are not valid in conjunction with another offer discount or promotion. All discounts offered are only available on Joulberry.com.
If two offers, discounts or promotions are running at the same time, only the promotion which gives the greatest discount will be applied to the order.
Please also note that any items purchased within a sale or promotion cannot be refunded. We would be happy to have the item exchanged or a credit note applied.
